The Seggau castle café is open daily from 8:30 a.m.
With its space for about 80 customers inside and for roughly 120 customers on the large, beautiful terrace ,it is a place of rest, revival and relaxation, far away from the turbulence of the town, and yet very close to it.
With the joined congress and convention centre, it is possible to meet with people from all nations in a multicultural atmosphere.
We serve our guests home made pastries and coffee specialities of different flavours, delicious ice creams and a varying, small but fine assortment of regional appetisers of the season – for the in between meal or as a light main course.
We invite you daily to our “breakfast on the mountain” between 8:30 and 11:30 a.m., where the manager of the castle café herself will serve you home made jams with the "Viennese breakfast", as a spicy alternative the "castle breakfest" and for international taste a "French-, Skandinavian- or Swiss breakfest". From classic to vegetarian, you will find something for every taste bud.
“Delicious Wines” from our own Episcopal wine cellar can be tasted and enjoyed all year round, irrespective of the season, but on balmy Summer nights on the idyllic terrace, the wine can be especially savoured.
On every 1st Sunday of the month (except January) we invite you from 10:00 a.m. to join us for a Castle brunch with a guided tour and live music.
Christmas and Company Functions, as well as Wedding Receptions are naturally also included in the Castle program.
SEGGAU CASTLE is a perfect starting point for the surrounding trails of Seggauberg. For energy a small snack in the Castle Café will help you on the way.
